Just as tasty as Stuffed Cabbage…
but without all the work!
1 head of cabbage
2 jars of your favorite marinara sauce (I love Napa Valley Bistro)
1 small container Ricota Cheese
1 lb hamburger
1 lb sausage (breakfast sausage or Italian sausage)
1 small package mozzarella
2 cups cheddar cheese
1/4 cup parmesan
1 medium onion
Salt and Pepper to taste
Brown onion, burger and sausage in a skillet.
Add cabbage and cook to soften cabbage a bit.
Add mozzarella, Ricotta cheese, marinara sauce and 1 cup of the cheddar and mix.
Bake uncovered 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle Parmesan and 2nd cup of cheddar on top and bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
This dish doesn’t last long in our house. Enjoy!
