Delicious Low Carb Biscuits
These biscuits are only 4 net carbs per biscuit! And they are soooo good. I double this recipe to make 12 biscuits each time because they don’t last long. Since my husband is a celiac I love that these delightful biscuits are also gluten free!
Preheat oven 400ᵒ
1 Cup + 2 Tbsp almond flour
1 1/2 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp sea salt
3/4 tsp aluminum free baking powder
2 eggs, whisked approx 20 seconds, until no longer stringy, just before placing into the dry ingredients.
Cut butter into dry ingredients until crumbly and chill for at least 10 minutes. 30 minutes is better.
Remove from fridge and add the whisked egg. It will be a somewhat runny dough, and a little chunky. Makes 6 biscuits.
Muffin top pan bake 15 minutes.
