Certified in Auriculotherapy (a form of Acupressure) since 1990.

Auriculotherapy is a health care procedure in which stimulation of the auricle of the external ear is utilized to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body. While originally based upon the ancient Chinese practices of acupuncture, the somatotopic correspondence of specific parts of the body to specific parts of the ear was first developed in France.

Award winning physician Dr. Paul Nogier spent many years mapping the points of the auricle (the outer part of the ear). In 1957, his work spread throughout Europe & China. It is a fact that human bodies project a living electromagnetic field, and even though there are no direct nerve connections between the ear and the body, the ear nerves do connect to reflex centers in the brain. These reflex centers send messages to the spinal cord, and then to the nerves in the body.

In America, aurculotherapy is considered an alternative medicine.

We believe all methods of health care can work together, synergistically, to compliment each individuals needs.
